Дана 21. новембра ове године, већина медија у Србији, укључујући и државни РТС, су пренели изјаву такозваног министра иностраних послова, непризнате Републике Косово, г-дина Енвера Хоџаја у којој је он, између осталог, рекао:“ Да је Резолуција 1244 Савета Безбедности УН – мртва.“

На жалост нисмо видели никакву реакцију мисије УН на Косову, на овај скандал, па Вас и остале политичке факторе укључене у овај процес непосредно (нашим дописом) али и јавно питамо зашто је то тако?

Да ли je могуће да један квази министар, квази државе, која није ни чланица УН, буде јачи и гласнији од Савета Безбедности УН и да јавно укида његову резолуцију, а да Ви ћутите? Зар то није директан удар на Вас и извргавање руглу самих Уједињених Нација? Зна се ко може да донесе једну такву резолуцију и ко стоји иза ње.

Овим су још једном, на веома груб начин, нарушена и повређена међународна права и углед државе Србије, од стране осионих албанских сепаратиста, уз једну разлику да су сада успут ошамарене и све чланице Савета Безбезбедности УН.

Очекујемо Ваш што скорији одговор и јавну реакцију, као и дискусију о овоме на следећем састанку о Косову у Савету Безбедности УН.

Subject: The scandalous statement of Mr. Enver Hoxhaj

On November 21 2013, the majority of the Serbian media, including the state-owned RTS (Radio Television Serbia), carried the text of the statement of the so-called Minister of Foreign Affairs of the unrecognized Republic of Kosovo Mr. Enver Hoxhaj in which he said inter alia: “Resolution 1244 of the UN Security Council is dead.”

Regrettably we did not see any reaction of the UN Mission in Kosovo to this scandalous behavior which leads us to ask you and other political factors involved in this process, both directly (by this letter), as well as publicly,why is that?

Is it possible that a quasi minister of a quasi country, which is not a member of the United Nations, is more powerful and speaks more loudly than the UN Security Council and is able to render null and void one of this body’s resolutions while you remain silent? Is this not a blow aimed directly at you? Does this not hold to public ridicule the United Nations themselves? It is well known who can bring such a resolution and who stands behind it.

This is yet another instance of gross and blatant violation of the international rights of the Republic of Serbia and derogation of its reputation by arrogant Albanian separatists, but this time there is a new twist to it. This time, the incident is enhanced by a slap in the face of every member of the UN Security Council.

We expect your prompt reply and your public reaction to the incident. We also expect a discussion of the incident the next time the UN Security Council meets on Kosovo matters.
